I am a registered clinical psychologist (CPI-0335) and I work mainly with adult clients experiencing challenges with emotional, behavioral, relational, or other mental health concerns. While my main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I do incorporate techniques from other therapy approaches based on the needs of my clients.
During my clinical training with adult clients, I learnt the importance of considering various aspects that contribute to clients’ mental health concerns for effective treatment planning. My experience gave me a chance to practice being patient and non-judgmental. Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, I had also worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
As a therapist, I aim to provide a safe space for my clients to share their stories and gain new insights. I believe that it is important to acknowledge that none of us can carry the world on our shoulders, and we all need some assistance every now and then. I emphasize on working collaboratively with clients in developing coping strategies to address their concerns.
